Discovery Church is made up of people who not long ago felt far from God and could never picture themselves in a church. So we understand where you're at and invite you to come as you are. Bring your questions and wear what you want. Just remember, no making out in the back row.
Children's Ministry
At Discovery we offer a nursery program for infants through First graders. We believe that our primary role is to teach the children the love of Jesus whether by example or through lessons. While in the nursery, the children get time to play together and learn a lesson from the Bible. Lessons are taught by various teachers. Lessons may include games, crafts, songs, or other activities.
We also believe it is important that parents know their children are completely safe in our care. Each child has to sign-in at our registration table. We have a security system for dropping off and picking up your child. If a child should need their parent, we have a system for notifying the parents as well. All of the volunteers have filled out a volunteer application and background check form. Older children are invited to join their parents in worship. An interactive children's bulletin is provided to help your child stay engaged in the worship experience.
