Got doubts about Christians? Even more skeptical of the church? Think lightening might strike if you showed up? Join the club...seriously. Discovery Church is made up of people who not long ago felt far from God and could never picture themselves in a church. So we understand where you're at and invite you to come as you are. Bring your questions and wear what you want. Just remember, no making out in the back row.
What We Believe
- 1. We believe in one God existing in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
- 2. We believe that Jesus Christ took on human flesh and lived among us. He was born of a virgin, died on the cross for our sins, rose on the third day, and ascended into heaven.
- 3. We believe the Holy Spirit is vital in the life of the believer.
- 4. We believe that we are saved by the grace of God alone.
- 5. We believe the Church is made up of all believers.
- 6. We believe that Jesus Christ will come again to reign.
- 7. We believe we are called to share God's grace with all those around us.
